Wedding in Queen Creek, Arizona & Veterans Oasis Park
Arizona wedding photographer: Lost Dutchman Engagement & backyard wedding
I first met Amanda & Jordan at their engagement shoot back in January 2023. We photographed their engagement photos at the Lost Dutchman State Park in Apache Junction, Arizona. They loved the Superstition Mountains and wanted to have the desert scenery. We photographed close to sunset allowing us to have the perfect light. They were both such a joy to work with and it made me more excited to capture their wedding. We found out that we both attend the same church and that one of the pastors was going to officiate their wedding. I love when I find out similar connections between my couples allowing us to build more of a connection. To take a look at their engagement session follow the link below.
Amanda & Jordan chose to have their wedding at their parents vacation home in Queen Creek, Arizona. All of their close family and friends traveled and attended their spring wedding. For the bride and groom and family photos we ended up driving about 10 minutes to Veterans Oasis Park. Everything flowed so seamlessly allowing them both to really take the time to spend quality time with all their guest. Their officiant was one of the pastors from Rock Point Church based in Queen Creek, Arizona. Mckenna from Events by Mckenna was their wedding planner and did an amazing job setting up everything. Sometimes the smallest amount of details really makes a big impact. If you’re ever on the fence when it comes to a backyard wedding I would highly encourage it. If you’re someone who is more slow paced this is they type of wedding that would fit your needs.
