Hey there! I am glad you made it to the blog! My name is Tara and I am an Arizona engagement photographer and wedding photographer based in Phoenix. Today’s blog includes highlights from Ali & Luis engagement photos on August 4th, 2023. This desert engagement session was photographed at the Riparian Preserve located in Gilbert, Arizona
When planning your engagement session it is important to find out what style fits both you and your fiance. First finding an Arizona engagement photographer whose style you love. Then, asking yourselves what locations do we love…. Do we love the desert? An elegant look? Greenery? Buildings? Mountain’s with the desert? This will help direct the path when choosing where to capture your engagement photos.

To name a few, some of my favorite desert locations include: Usery Mountain, Lost Dutchman and Riparian Preserve. Some classy and elegant locations include: Wrigley Mansion, Old town tavern & Royal Palms . Looking for greenery? Ali & Luis recently just got engaged and we captured their photos at the Riparian Preserve in Gilbert, Arizona. The first time Ali and I met was actually at the superstition mountains where I photographed her friends engagement photos. She was there to help them out with holding the golden doodle while he wasn’t being used for photos (what a great friend!). She mentioned she would love to get photos done of her and her boyfriend. Few months passed and they ended up getting engaged!! Ali then reached out about her wedding and engagement photos!
Even though it is summer time, which means hot temps… You can’t even tell from the photos. I love how they turned out and feel you really can see the happiness between these two. The next step is getting these two MARRIED!! I am lucky enough to be their photographer capturing their wedding in 2024 at Lindsey Grove.
