Welcome to the blog of Ali and Luis. Their wedding took place at a wedding Venue in Mesa, Arizona called Lindsay Grove. I met Ali when I was photographing her friend Angela’s engagement photos. Angela and her now husband Scott, wanted their goldendoodle to be apart of their photos so they brought Ali to help with that. Ali reached out and ended up booking me to capture their engagement photos and their wedding!
Ali and Luis chose to do a first look with vow readings before their ceremony. It was filled with so many emotions and my favorite part was when Luis finished reading his vows he proceeded to look at Ali and continue speaking to her on how he was going to honor and respect her in their marriage. I have never seen a groom do this before, it was very intentional and with the words he spoke to her. Once we finished the first look, we started taking photos of immediate family and then the bridal party.
The wedding ceremony took place outdoors in a beautiful green landscape with about 80-90 guest who attended. Ali and Luis chose to do a grand entrance of just them two and went straight into first dances. The night continued with lots of dancing and fun music. I am so excited for Ali and Luis and pray they continue to have a blessed marriage and always will remember the vows they committed to one another.
